New JET Coordinator

A warm hello from the Consulate General of Japan at Montreal!

I am Diane Polis and since January 2005, I am the JET Programme Coordinator here in Montreal. If you are reading these lines, it means that you are either a JET, a former JET, or perhaps a future JET. No matter which group you fit in, thank you for keeping in touch!

I hope I will be able to get more and more involved with Montreal JETAA and that I can be of help to you all who show such great enthusiasm for the JET Programme.

I was the 2003-2004 Miyagi JET for the lovely town of Iwadeyama. Kyokushin karate is what first got me interested in Japan… And so began a great adventure as I set foot in Iwadeyama Senior High…

I look forward to meeting you all!

Un chaleureux bonjour sorti tout droit du Consulat Général du Japon à Montréal!

Je suis Diane Polis et depuis janvier dernier, je suis la coordonnatrice du Programme JET ici, à Montréal. Si vous lisez ces lignes, c’est que vous êtes soit un JET, un ancien JET ou un futur JET. Quelle que soit votre appartenance, merci de garder contact!

J’espère être en mesure de m’impliquer de plus en plus auprès de JETAA Montréal et pouvoir être d’une certaine aide à vous tous qui montrez un si grand enthousiasme pour le Programme JET.

J’étais la JET de Miyagi en 2003-2004 pour la charmante ville d’Iwadeyama. J’ai d’abord développé mon intérêt pour le Japon à travers le karaté Kyokushin. C’est ainsi qu’a débuté une grande aventure lorsque j’ai mis le pied à l’école secondaire d’Iwadeyama…

J’ai bien hâte de vous rencontrer!
