The JET Programme Official Website http://www.jetprogramme.org/ The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a project to promote language education and regional internationalisation by inviting foreign individuals to work in local government organizations throughout Japan.

JETAA
The Japan Exchange and Teaching Alumni Association http://www.jet.org/ JETAA is the international Alumni Association of the JET Programme (Japan Exchange & Teaching). It consists of university educated young people who have spent from one to three years working with the JET program in schools all over Japan.
Montreal JET alumni Association http://montreal.jetaa.ca/ The Montreal JETAA chapter was formed in November of 1990 and is comprised of JET program participants that have returned to Montreal and its surrounding region.

Japanese Government
Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) http://www.clair.or.jp/e/ The Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR) was established in July 1988 in response to rising concerns about local level internationalization in Japan. CLAIR supports current trends in internationalization and seeks to promote further developments in this area.
Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Official Website http://www.mofa.go.jp/ A source of information on what’s going in Japan. Lots of politics and “official” matters discussed here.
Japan Information Network http://www.jinjapan.org The Japan Information Network (JIN) is an Internet website operated by the Japan Center for Intercultural Communications (JCIC). JCIC is an independent public-interest incorporated association that was established in 1953 to introduce Japan "such as its politics, economy, society and culture " and enhance overseas understanding of Japan, as well as to familiarize the Japanese people with information about foreign countries in order to promote their understanding of other countries.

 Established in 1964 to further international exchange through tourism, Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) has since involved itself in a broad range of promoting tourist traffic to Japan through various activities overseas and tourism promotion activities in Japan. These engagements have taken the form of operating Tourist Information Centers in Japan for foreign visitors, consolidating reception facilities for these visitors, and promoting international conventions and trade fairs.
